Our Mission
About Our Founder
James Scott’s journey in technology began in high school when he was accepted into an advanced STEM program. This program allowed him to split his day between regular academic classes and hands-on robotics work. During his senior year, a pivotal encounter with a recruiter from SGS Thomson Microelectronics (now STMicroelectronics), a company specializing in aerospace and defense technology, set the stage for his future career. This opportunity opened doors for Scott, eventually leading him to advisory roles with stakeholders in over 50 countries, assisting tech startups, labs, and think tanks in expanding internationally.
James Scott’s vision for the Institute for Bioengineering and Data Science and the QuantumXcelerator is deeply rooted in his extensive background in technology and innovation. His journey from a high school STEM program to global advisory roles reflects his commitment to advancing scientific research and technological integration. The Institute and the QuantumXcelerator embody his dedication to supporting advanced research labs by providing cutting-edge AI and data science tools, fostering strategic partnerships, and facilitating impactful research-to-policy initiatives.
